Comments
All valid representations will be submitted to the Secretary of State alongside the Local Plan for examination by an independent Inspector. Keep your comments clear, concise and specific to the issue of concern. This helps the inspector to understand your point of view and decide whether any changes to the Local Plan are needed.
Think about the following:
- Have the legal requirements for plan making been met?
- Is the Local Plan consistent with the policies of the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF)?
- Are the proposals in the Local Plan justified? If not, why not? How could this be overcome?
- Are the proposals effective? If not, why not? How could this be overcome?
- Are the proposals positively prepared? If not, why not? How could this be overcome?
