Garden Waste subscription scheme

If you live in Pendle and want your garden waste collected, you’ll need to subscribe to our Garden Waste Scheme.

This service is available to both new and existing subscribers.

How much is it?

The garden waste subscription costs £41 per bin per year, payable in advance.

The subscription is a fixed, non-refundable charge and covers the service period from July to June.

Garden waste is not collected during December, January and February.

To receive the full service, you must sign up by 10 June.

Do I need a garden waste bin?

If you subscribe to the service and do not currently have a garden waste bin, you can request one as part of the application form.

You cannot have more bins than subscriptions paid for.

When are the collections?

Garden waste is collected fortnightly.

On your collection day, your green bin must be placed at the front edge of your property, nearest the kerbside, no later than 7.30am, with the lid fully closed.

Bins containing contaminated waste will not be emptied.

How do I apply or renew?

To apply or renew your garden waste subscription, complete our the form below.

Once payment has been made, please allow up to two weeks for your bin sticker(s) to arrive. These will be sent by post along with a confirmation letter and a copy of the current terms and conditions.
