Invite the Mayor to attend an event
The Mayor of Pendle attends about 300 engagements during the year and each invite to attend an event is dealt with by the Mayoral staff. The office is also responsible for the organisation and delivery of civic events. An attendant accompanies the Mayor on all official engagements, acts as chauffeur and on appropriate occasions as Macebearer or Toastmaster.
It is best if your invite is received as early as possible, as the Mayoral diary often becomes fully booked. You will be notified in writing as to whether or not the Mayor will be able to accept your invitation.
