Percentage of undisputed invoices paid within 30 days
This indicator is used to provide us with a measure of our performance regarding how prompt we are at paying invoices for the commercial goods and services we buy.
This is a former statutory indicator and linked to the central government drive to support prompt payment by the public sector, in particular to help support small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
We can use it to compare internal performance, and improve standards. It also means that we can be compared to other councils nationally.
