Help for Households
Support for heating oil households
Financial support is available for vulnerable, low-income households experiencing immediate hardship due to significant increases in heating oil price rises. The Fund will also support those on Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG)
Applicants must:
- Be on a low income (annual household income of less than £36,000)
- Not have received a payment for Heating Oil or LPG from this scheme within the last 12 months
and:
Have vulnerable household members, such as:
- People aged 65 or over
- Children under five
- Pregnant women
- Individuals with cardiovascular or respiratory conditions
- Individuals with a disability or mental health condition
How to apply?
You will need to provide the following evidence so please have this to hand:
- a copy of your previous heating oil bill
- a copy of your recent heating oil quote
- evidence that you are now low on oil
- a copy of all your recent bank statements
