Garden Waste Renewal Issue (June 2026)
Some households have received a garden waste renewal letter containing an incorrect barcode.
Unfortunately, this barcode can’t be scanned at PayPoint locations or Post Offices to process payments. We are sending replacement letters with the correct barcode to all affected addresses.
In the meantime, you can still renew your garden waste service with your reference number:
- pay online here
- by using the Automated Telephone Payment Line on (01282) 661 661 and choosing option 1.
How do I know if I’m affected?
Check your letter. If your barcode has 23 numbers beneath it instead of the 24 needed, you will receive a replacement letter.
Garden waste collections are available on a fortnightly basis for subscribed households in Pendle. The service costs £41 per bin per year and must be paid in advance. Garden waste is not collected during December, January or February, with collections resuming in March.
