In 2009/10, Pendle householders recycled over 35% of their waste, which is more than three times what we recycled in 2002/03. However we must recycle 56% by 2015, so we all need to recycle more for Pendle.
Pendle Council provides a kerbside collection of recycling to over 99% of households and has 14 public recycling sites.
Pendle also has a Household Waste Recycling Centre operated by Lancashire County Council.
