A UK general election will take place on Thursday 4 July 2024.

Election notices

Register to Vote

You need to be registered to take part in the election. Register to Vote at www.gov.uk/register-to-vote this must be done by 18 June. Voters can choose to vote at a polling station, by post or by proxy. Find out more on how to vote.

If you vote at a polling station will need to show photo identification (ID). You should check now if you have an accepted photo ID, and if not to apply for free ID, called the Voter Authority Certificate

Electoral boundary

This is the first time voters will be voting in the new electoral boundary.

Most residents will now vote in the Pendle and Clitheroe constituency.

Residents in these wards will vote in the Burnley constituency:

  • Brierfield East and Clover Hill
  • Brierfield West and Reedley.
