Local people are being thanked for sharing their views on how £20m should be invested in the town and there is still time to get involved.
More than 500 people have already completed the survey launched by the Nelson Plan for Neighbourhoods Board.

The Programme Team would love to hear from at least 1,000 local people before it closes on Sunday 19 October.
Councillor Asjad Mahmood, Deputy Leader of Pendle Borough Council and Portfolio Holder for Economic Growth, Development and Regeneration, said: “Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to complete our survey.
“It’s so important that you take this opportunity to put forward your ideas – your views will directly shape our plan for Nelson for the next 10 years.”
The short survey can be completed online https://forms.office.com/e/71SrXWuGvR
If you'd like to speak to someone in person or need help completing the survey, you can attend an informal drop-in session.
- Wednesday 17 September, 5- 6.45pm at Nelson Library
- Tuesday 23 September, 12pm-2pm at Nelson Town Hall
- Wednesday 24 September, 2pm-4pm at Nelson Town Hall
- Wednesday 15 October, 5 – 6.45pm at Nelson Library
Sue Rae, Programme and Projects Manager, said: “It’s been fantastic meeting local people at events across Nelson. Your feedback has been incredibly valuable.
“Please encourage your friends, neighbours and family members to take part.
“And if you have questions or need support to complete the survey, we’d love to see you at one of our drop-in sessions at Nelson Town Hall or Nelson Library.”
