Enter now for Pendle Business Awards 2024

The awards bring the borough’s business community together to celebrate their success, innovation, hard work, vision and entrepreneurship.

There are 14 award categories to suit all types, sectors and sizes of business and all Pendle based businesses and organisations are eligible to apply.

Categories include: Apprentice Of The Year, Family Business, Retailer, Rising Star, Hospitality and Tourism and Workforce Development.

The awards are being run independently by Pendle Connects, with Pendle Borough Council as the headline sponsor and supported by Pendle Vision Board and East Lancashire Chamber of Commerce.

Organisers are also looking for sponsors for each of the categories.

The closing date for entries is 8 May; finalists will be announced live at Pendle Connects on 5 June and an awards ceremony will be held on 11 July at The Fence Gate.

Chair of Pendle Vision Board, Dennis Mendoros OBE DL, said: “We’re fortunate in Pendle to have lots of dynamic companies at the cutting edge and world leaders in their field.

Phillip Spurr, Director of Place for Pendle Borough Council, added: “This is a great opportunity for local businesses to shout about their achievements and for us to spread the word about the calibre of companies we have right here in Pendle.”
