With a nod to this being Pendle’s 50th Anniversary year, the golden-themed black-tie event takes place on Friday, 1 March, at The Fence Gate and promises to be a wonderful evening of entertainment.

The ball includes a 3-course meal and entertainment from Funkystuff soul and disco band, as well as a charity auction and raffle.

The Mayor’s ball is a highlight in the mayoral calendar and an important fundraising event with all profits going to the Mayor’s chosen charities - Curry On The Street, Rossendale and Pendle Mountain Rescue, Burnley FC in the Community and The Autistic Society.

His Worship the Mayor of Pendle, Councillor Brian Newman, said: “I hope as many people as possible will come and join me for my Golden Opportunities Charity Ball.

“It’s a fantastic opportunity to have a great time, whilst raising money for some very worthy local causes.”

Tickets cost £45 and are available from Fiona Standring, The Mayor’s Secretary. Call 01282 661636 or email fiona.standring@pendle.gov.uk
