Free seminars and workshops for Pendle businesses!

A week of workshops, drop-ins and seminars aimed at giving Pendle businesses a boost is back by popular demand.

Organised by Pendle Borough Council, in collaboration with Colne BID and Nelson and Colne College, this year’s Pendle Business Week is running from Monday 2 October to Friday 6 October.

It brings together a wide range of business specialists who can help business growth in Pendle.

Councillor Asjad Mahmood, Leader of Pendle Borough Council, said: “I’m delighted that we’re bringing back this focussed week of support for Pendle businesses - and they are all free!

“If you’d like an injection of business know-how have a look at what’s on offer - there’s something for everyone, however big you are and whatever stage you’re currently at.

“You can book on one session or all of them – we just want you to get the most out of this week of support!”

Pendle Connects, which brings together businesses from across Pendle, is a key session on Wednesday 4 October.

It gives people the opportunity to find out what’s happening across the borough, network with other local businesses and hear from local business support organisations.

Other sessions include the benefits of unique materials in manufacturing; trading internationally; digital marketing; sustainable manufacturing, recruitment and retention and upskilling your workforce.

You can view and book the sessions via Pendle Borough Council’s website – www.pendle.gov.uk/pbw2023
