Number of private rented properties inspected where visits have resulted in positive outcomes

Performance trend chart showing positive outcomes over time

When looking at this information, please be aware that:

  • The green columns represent the number of visits that have resulted in positive outcomes for the year-to-date (i.e. the total for each quarter combined).
  • The blue line represents the historical year-to-date trend (i.e. how the number of visits with positive outcomes has progressed from the start of the year to each quarter).

Empty homes can cause problems as they are often targets for criminal damage, fly-tipping, and anti-social behaviour. They also represent a wasted housing resource and can reduce the value of neighbouring properties.

This performance indicator monitors the proactive work undertaken by the housing team, including the number of private rented properties inspected where formal or informal intervention has improved conditions and safeguarded tenants.
