Brierfield, Barnoldswick and Earby town centre improvements

Funded by UK Government logo

We are managing improvement works to Brierfield, Barnoldswick and Earby town centres. This work is funded by UK Government's UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF)

We aim to enhance the town centres and improve traffic management to create more appealing and accessible town centres.

  • new dropped crossings to make the area more accessible for all road users.

Barnoldswick improvements

Barnoldswick town centre improvements include:

  • new pavements
  • dropped crossings
  • better traffic flow
  • introduction of more green spaces
  • improved lighting and signage

Brierfield improvements

Brierfield’s scheme focuses on Colne Road and include:

  • new paving
  • street furniture
  • improved landscaping
  • repaired canopies
  • new lighting to enhance safety and visibility in the town centre
