Election results - 2024 - Voter ID data

We monitored the number of people who brought photo ID to vote in person in the UK general election in the Pendle and Clitheroe constituency on Thursday 4 July 2024.

The data shows that 99.96% of electors voting in Pendle and Clitheroe constituency polling stations brought photo ID that met voter ID requirements.

Collated figures across the area show 34,831 electors voted at our 64 polling stations in the general election.

At the end of polling day, 16 electors who tried to vote in a polling station were not given a ballot paper because they did not meet the voter ID requirements – 0.04%.

The figures also show while 97 electors were initially turned away, 81 returned with acceptable ID and were able to vote. This means 83.5% of those initially turned away returned and were issued with a ballot paper.
