Building notice application form
If the building is or will be put to a use which is designated under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 do not use this form. A full plans application must be submitted instead.
Buildings that are designated under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 include most buildings except single family dwelling-houses. The Order also includes the common areas of flats.
The charges for this Notice are based on the people carrying out the work being competent. If additional inspections are needed to provide guidance which would be known by a competent person, there may be an extra charge to recover additional costs.
The people carrying out the building work must give written notice at least two days before the work starts.
