Recipe 4 Health Scheme
What is Recipe 4 Health?
Recipe 4 Health is a Lancashire County Council scheme which encourages local takeaways, cafes and mobile caterers to offer healthier choices on their menu and promote healthier eating and lifestyle choices.
In a bid to help improve health and wellbeing among people in Pendle, especially in children and young people, we are encouraging - and offering support – to local catering businesses through the Recipe 4 Health scheme.
There are three levels for the award – bronze, silver and gold. Businesses must start with bronze and work their way up to gold.
Sign up and receive free benefits including promotion of your business; free support in making positive changes to your menus, policies and practices and the opportunity to earn £1,000 per week contracts during the school holidays.
How do I apply for the Recipe 4 Health Scheme?
If you have achieved a 3 stars or higher as part of the Food Hygiene Rating scheme then you can sign up to the Recipe 4 Health Scheme on the Lancashire County Council website.
