Sampling and risk assessment are normally done every 5 years.

Under Reg 9 (Large supplies or commercial/ public activity) £54.31

Sample will usually be taken at the property where the commercial activity is undertaken, and only that property is cahrged for this sampling and analysis. Risk assessment costs with be shared.

Audit monitoring (commercial supplies) £239.30 if all parameters are sampled (which is unlikely) For risk assessments all possible contaminents must be analysed.
  • Where more than one property is on the supply, the total costs are divided equally between all properties except where the sample is taken only because of commercial activity
  • There is no fee to pay where a sample is taken and analysed solely to confirm or clarify the results of a previous sample eg due to lab error
