Pendle residents were asked to take their cameras and phones out on to the streets of Nelson and be as creative as possible to get their best shot.

Entries included some of the town’s landmarks and parks pictured in all seasons, people going about their daily life and scenes of Nelson with the icon Pendle Hill in the background.

Councillor Asjad Mahmood, Leader of Pendle Borough Council and Nelson Town Deal board member, said: “This was an opportunity for the borough’s residents to go out and capture the people and places of Nelson.

“We had some fantastic entries which depicted the best of the town and its surrounding parks and green spaces.”

People of all ages were invited to participate in different age categories.

Staff from Tiny Pixels Kodak Express in Nelson had the difficult task of choosing just three images from the entries in the different age categories.
