Audit statement of accounts reports
We have a statutory responsibility to prepare our annual accounts in accordance with the Code of Practice on Local Authority Accounting issued by the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA), Local Audit and Accountability Act 2014 and The Accounts and Audit Regulations 2015 to give a true and fair view of its operations during the year.

The Statement of Accounts provide an analysis of our income and expenditure and cash flows over a 1 year period as at 31st March.
The Accounts also include an independent opinion made by External Auditors that the accounts are prepared properly, that proper accounting practices have been followed and that arrangements have been made for securing economy, efficiency and effectiveness in the use of our resources.
