We collect Council Tax on behalf of ourselves. Lancashire County Council, Police and Fire authorities. This was how the money was split in 2023/24.
*This does not include Town and Parish Councils because we have no power over the precepts they set.
How we spend our money
Where our funding comes from
Council Tax accounted for 53% of our funding in 2023/24 and helps to ensure the continued delivery of our services. The remaining 47% is provided by central government.
