Latest Covid-19 statistics for Pendle

News on this week's Covid-19 statistics in Pendle

The number of new cases (433) and the rate of infection per 100,000 (535.2) have come down over the last 7 days but the rate is still high in Pendle.

Sadly, the number of deaths since the start of the pandemic has gone up again in the past 7 days from 190  to 195.  These are people who have died within 28 days of testing positive for Covid-19.

The age group which has recorded the most new cases has shifted from 20 - 29 to 30-39.

The previous week, on 20 January the number of  new cases for the previous 7 days was 636 and the rate of infection was 690.5 per 100,000.
