Still here for you! Get help from Pendle Community Support Hub

“With new national restrictions in force, the Pendle Community Support Hub is an important lifeline,” said Councillor Mohammed Iqbal MBE, Leader of Pendle Council.
“We launched the Hub in March when national lockdown started and it has since provided support for around 1,500 local people,” he stated.
“The Hub will continue to help local people in Pendle, including those who need to self-isolate and vulnerable people who do not have support nearby,” he said.
The Support Hub became a virtual hub in June and now people can access the help they need from over 80 organisations online via www.pendle.gov.uk/communitysupporthub
Organisations include the Pendle Food Alliance, Burnley Pendle and Rossendale Council for Voluntary Service (CVS), the Samaritans, Citizens Advice and Pendle Domestic Violence Initiative.
Anyone not online can ring (01282) 661743 between 8.45am – 4pm Monday to Friday.
People can find out how to get help including:
• Collecting prescriptions
• Help with shopping
• Advice on how to get food parcels
• Support dealing with social isolation and loneliness
• Financial and debt advice including redundancy advice
• Support for anyone suffering from domestic abuse.
Councillor Iqbal added:
“Please be a good friend or neighbour and flag up the help available from the Pendle Community Support Hub to anyone who needs it.
“We all need to look out for each other at this very challenging time,” he said.
