A week of FREE workshops, drop-ins and seminars aimed at giving Pendle businesses a boost is back.

Organised by Pendle Council and Pendle Vision the sessions, which run from Monday 14 October, include Selling for Growth, Starting your own Business and Communication and Teamwork.

Popular networking event, Pendle Connects, is taking place on Friday 18 October. It’s open to all Pendle based businesses and those doing business in Pendle.

And Lloyds Banking Group is hosting Lloyds Digi Know How - an event centred on the digital adoption, skills and understanding of small businesses and charities across the UK on Wednesday 6 November.

All of the sessions and how to book are on www.pendle.gov.uk/pbw

Hassan Ditta, Employer Engagement Officer, said: “This year we moved Pendle Business Week from our usual slot in October to July.

“We found many of our businesses were unable to attend the sessions in July so we’re holding it again to give people the opportunity to get some excellent support right on their doorstep.”

Councillor Mohammed Iqbal, Leader of Pendle Council, added: “We really mean business which is why we’re continuing to do all we can to support our wonderful businesses.

“We want to give you the tools to help you to thrive and Make it in Pendle so we’re bringing back this focussed week of support.

“Please take a look at the events - there’s something for everyone, however big you are and whatever stage you’re currently at.”
