A week of FREE workshops, drop-ins and seminars aimed at giving Pendle businesses a boost is back by popular demand for the eighth year.
Organised by Pendle Council and Pendle Vision, this year’s Pendle Business Week is running from Monday 8th July to Friday 12th July.
It’s all about helping existing businesses to grow and making it a reality for those who want to start their own business.
The Week kicks off with how to build an effective online marketing plan as well as lifesaving skills - how to perform CPR and use a defibrillator in an emergency.
On Tuesday Lancashire Adult Learning along with Facebook and Freeformers will upskill the county’s millenials to prepare them for work in the digital economy.
And if you work in the tourism industry then Marketing Lancashire’s brand new destination welcome training programme may interest you.
Other sessions during the Week include selling for growth, business crime reduction and keeping businesses safe online.
Meanwhile, if you’re a female business owner based in Pendle trying to get ahead and manage a busy life - then there’s the perfect session for you on Wednesday 10th July.
Called Rise, the half-day workshop combines learning through experience and visionary group work.
Councillor Mohammed Iqbal, Leader of Pendle Council, said: “We really mean business which is why we’re continuing to do all we can to support our wonderful businesses.
“We want to give you the tools to help you to thrive and Make it in Pendle, which is why we’re bringing back this focussed week of support for the eighth year.
“Please take a look at the events - there’s something for everyone, however big you are and whatever stage you’re currently at.
“This year all of the sessions are free so please book without delay because many have limited availability.”
