Switch to e-billing and you could win up to £500 off your next council tax bill

Pendle Council has launched its new and improved online council tax service and to celebrate it’s giving you the chance to win up to £500 off your next council tax bill.
All you have to do is switch to receive your bill by email by 20th February to be entered into the draw.
You can do this on the Council’s website – www.pendle.gov.uk/counciltaxonline
One household will win £500 off their council tax bill and two households will win £250 off their 2018 council tax bills.
If you already receive your council tax bill this way then you’ll automatically be entered into the draw too!
Councillor Mohammed Iqbal, Leader of Pendle Council and digital champion, said: “We’re really excited to launch our new and improved Council Tax Online service.
“It’s now much easier to use on your mobile, tablet or computer and we hope it means even more residents will get online and use it.
“We’ve been taking your comments on board. If you’ve tried itbefore and didn’t like it, give it another go - you’ll see some big improvements!”
You can now register with Council Tax Online with a username and password of your choice, making it even easier to access your online account.
Council Tax Online offers a quicker, easier and more secure way to:
- switch to Direct Debit and e-billing
- check how much you owe
- make payments
- tell us of a change in your circumstances
- apply for discounts
- tell us that you’ve moved
Councillor Iqbal added: “By signing up to e-billing you’re helping us to save money, protect our services and it’s better for the environment.”
