A two minute silence will be observed at 11am at the cenotaph between Nelson Library and the Town Hall to remember those who lost their lives in war.
And in Barley on Saturday people are welcome to assemble at the village hall at 10:30am for a procession to the memorial stone for a service at 11am.
Everyone is also welcome to join Pendle councillors at wreath laying ceremonies across the
borough on Sunday 12th November.
Pendle’s Mayor, Councillor Whalley said:
“We’re inviting people in all parts of Pendle to join with us in remembering the brave men and women who have given their lives for our country."

They are taking place in Barley, Barnoldswick, Barrowford, Brierfield and Reedley, Blacko, Colne, Earby, Fence, Foulridge, Higham, Laneshaw Bridge, Nelson, Newchurch, Salterforth and Trawden.
