Pendle observes minute's silence at 11am today

St George's flags flying at half-mast in Pendle following Manchester terrorist attack.
Leader of Pendle Council, Councillor Mohammed Iqbal said: "Pendle Council will join councils across the UK in observing the nation’s minute’s silence at 11 am today.
"The silence is in remembrance of the victims of the Manchester attack.
"It will also show solidarity with all those injured in the terrorist blast and the families and friends of victims," he explained.

All flags on town halls across the country, including those on Nelson and Colne Town Halls, will continue to fly at half-mast today as a mark of respect.
