Pendle Council’s Tourism Officer Mike Williams said:

“The themes for this year are preserve, create and develop.

"And we have an exciting range of speakers on Pendle’s heritage, the arts and new developments.

The event is for all types of businesses involved in the visitor economy including people working in retail, cafes, restaurants, pubs, B&Bs, holiday cottage owners, visitor attractions, arts and cultural organisations and event organisers.

Councillor Iqbal, Leader of Pendle Council said:

“Tourism is important to Pendle and our stunning area has so much to offer, with many inspiring businesses which make a visit or stay a very memorable experience.

“Over 2.7 million day and overnight visitors bring over £119 million into Pendle’s economy each year,” he stated.

The conference is FREE but booking is essential as places are limited and lunch is provided.
