New online Portal for Pendle landlords is coming

Pendle Council is set to launch a new online service which will help local landlords keep on top of managing tenancies.

Any Pendle landlord who has Housing Benefit paid directly to them will be able to log on to the Landlords’ Portal 24 hours a day, seven days a week to access payment details.

Councillor Mohammed Iqbal, Leader of Pendle Council, said: “This new service, which is coming in September, will be much more convenient and will replace any information we currently send as letters or emails.

“Instead, information will be stored securely and you’ll be able to access it whenever you need to."

Landlords who are set up on the Portal will be able to:

•             view payment schedules including details of previous payments

•             access details of Housing Benefit entitlement for tenants you receive direct payments

•             check the status of your tenants’ claim

•             view future amounts and due dates

•             report a change in your tenants’ circumstances.

The Portal will be available from Monday 23 September.
