COVID-19 Support for individuals

Coronavirus testing in Pendle

If you have symptoms of Covid-19, you need to isolate and get a PCR test as soon as possible. The symptoms are:

  • a high temperature
  • a new, continuous cough
  • a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste

If you are fully vaccinated or under 18, you don't have to self-isolate if you have been in close contact with someone who has COVID-19. You should however, still take a PCR test and self-isolate if it’s positive, or if you have symptoms.

Booking a test for a Mobile Testing Unit or Local Testing Station

COVID-19 tests can only be booked on the national online booking portal or by calling 119 if you do not have access to the internet. You cannot book a test in any other way.

If you can't book a test online, or you are offered a location or time that isn't convenient, wait a few hours and then try again. Tests are available each day.
