A week of workshops, drop-ins and seminars aimed at giving Pendle businesses a boost is back by popular demand! Pendle Business Week will be running for the sixth year from the 16 to the 20 October 2017 – a week of FREE seminars, training sessions, and masterclasses run by business experts to help businesses grow and to help those who may have a passion to start their own business make it a reality.

Organised by Pendle Council and Pendle Vision Board, the week will offer the latest advice and guidance on a range of business areas to support business growth, and there will be something to help all types and all sizes of business. It brings together a wide range of business specialists who can help business growth in Pendle.

This forum is both a knowledge exchange and a networking opportunity for all types of businesses affected by the visitor economy, including retailers, cafes, restaurants, pubs, B&Bs, holiday cottage owners, visitor attractions and event organisers. Tourism is an important part of the local economy generating in excess of £100m each year for Pendle. Pendle Connects - Insider Insights

Hear from four of Pendle’s well known entrepreneurs who will share their insider knowledge with you as part of Pendle
Business Week 2017. 

Pendle Connects Insider Insights event runs on Wednesday 18 October at the Whitehough Outdoor Education Centre in Barley from 8am-10am. Following a networking session from 8am, we’ll have a Pendle Council update at 8.40am then a presentation from each of our speakers. Each entrepreneur/business owner will share the paths they took to steer their businesses to the local & regional success stories they are now. 

Business speakers from Harvey Environmental, Matthew Kibble Transport, Unique Clean and XLCR will take questions from the audience following each of their presentations and the event will end at 10am. An optional tour of the facilities will then be
provided by Burnley FC in the Community which is the new owner of Whitehough.

Combining business networking with themed panel interviews Pendle Connects events provide a platform for sharing best
business practice, innovation, ideas and business generation. Events are open to all Pendle based businesses and those doing business in Pendle. All sectors, private, public and voluntary are welcome to attend.
