Barrowford Cemetery is the newest cemetery in our care and is situated off Colne Road above Barrowford Park and near to the Heritage Centre. It measures 1.01 hectares in size and has been open since 1930.

The Cemetery is ideally situated for peace and tranquillity being located above Barrowford Park, access to the cemetery can be gained on foot via the park itself by ascending the Coronation Steps built in 1937.

Vehicular access is through the Heritage Centre and up the single track lane to the left.  The Cemetery is situated at top of the lane.

The site incorporates 7 memorial niche walls.

Barrowford War Memorial is situated within Barrowford Park at the bottom of the hill.

We have carefully placed seating in the cemetery to ensure visitors are able to sit and contemplate and remember their loved ones. We have also ensured there are sufficient water supplies and waste baskets to help maintain the gravesides of your nearest and dearest.

Within Barrowford Cemetery is the Jo Belbin Memorial - Woodland Cemetery which is a natural alternative to the traditional form of burial.
