Sports Fixtures

Sports fixtures are updated on a weekly basis.

Weekend fixtures must be submitted no later than Thursday 12 noon.

Mid-week fixtures must be provided no later than 4.00 pm on the Friday before.

Pitch Inspections

Football pitches are inspected on Saturday and Sunday mornings during Winter. Assessments are made on whether bad weather will prevent the game from being played and to check whether the pitches are safe to play on.

We now use social media to announce both on Facebook and Twitter whether games are on or off at all our pitches.

The results of the pitch inspections will be posted after 9.00 am on Saturday and Sunday mornings.  Please become a friend of Pendle Council on Facebook and follow @PendleBC on Twitter.

The results of the weekend pitch inspections are also provided at all Football pitch sites once the inspections have been done on a Saturday and Sunday morning.
