There are three process documents produced as part of the Local Develoment Framework.
Title | Summary/Purpose | Document Status | Current Work Stage | Expected Adoption | Further Details |

| Local Development Scheme (LDS) | The LDS is a public statement of Pendle's programme for the production of all the documents that make up the LDF. It is updated on an annual basis and represents the document that members of the public can use to find out what Pendle Council is proposing to do and when, and at what stage they can expect to be involved in the planning process. | Complete | Brought into effect March 2005, Revised March 2006, 2nd Revision March 2007 | Download the Pendle LDS 2007 Local Development Scheme (LDS) homepage | |
| Statement of Community Involvement (SCI) | The SCI sets out the Council's proposals for involving the local community and key stakeholders in the preparation of the LDF. Key issues addressed are who should be consulted, what they should be consulted on, how they should be consulted and when they should be consulted. | Complete | Adopted March 2007 | Download the Pendle SCI Statement of Community Involvement (SCI) homepage | |
| Annual Monitoring Report (AMR) | The Annual Monitoring Report assesses both the performance, and the effects of, the Local Development Framework. Annual monitoring provides a comprehensive evidence base against which LDF policy documents, and implementation mechanisms, can be assessed. The 3rd AMR covers the period 01/04/06 - 31/03/07 and therefore assesses the Adopted Local Plan and emerging Local Plan policies. AMR's will be produced annually and so future reports will focus on LDF policies as they are implemented. | Complete | Updated annually | 3rd report published December 2007 | Download the Pendle AMR 2007 Annual Monitoring Report (AMR) homepage |
