Pest control
The Council carries out treatment to remove most household pests which are considered to be a risk to public health or food safety, such as rats, mice, bed bugs, fleas and cockroaches. These services are available to commercial and domestic properties. Please complete an online form above or contact us.
No charge is made for domestic treatments, except for the removal of wasps nests, for which a payment of £22.80 is payable.
An hourly charge of £39.45 is payable for commercial treatments, plus poisons and vat.
A charge of £51.25 inc. vat is payable for the removal of wasps nests from commercial premises.
Additional information: Honey bees are protected and under normal circumstances cannot be destroyed. If you think you have a honeybees nest you may arrange for a bee keeper to visit and remove it.
