Pendle's Local Strategic Partnership
Pendle's Local Strategic Partnership (LSP), known as Pendle Partnership, brings together vital local organisations.
They include police, NHS East Lancashire, Lancashire County Council, Pendle Council, schools and colleges, local businesses and community, voluntary and faith groups.
By joining forces we believe we stand a better chance of improving the lives of people in Pendle.
In June 2008, we published our Sustainable Community Strategy called 'Our Pendle Our Future' which can be downloaded here.
This is an exciting plan for Pendle which sets out how we'll make Pendle a better place to live, learn, work, play and visit over the next 10 years.
In June 2010 a refresh of the Sustainable Community Strategy was approved by the Partnership. This does not replace the original Strategy, but updates the targets and performance measures. A copy of the refresh can be downloaded here.
A new approach to Partnership working
The role of Pendle Partnership has changed.
This means that we can be even more focussed on what we need to do to improve the lives of our residents.
