If you're out and about in Colne on Friday 26th March, pop along to the Market Hall to see what's on offer at the special Pendle Food Forum stall.
For one day only, a large range of community organisations will be in one place, offering free, friendly, help and advice on healthy eating.
And health experts will be on hand to provide tips on easy ways to help you get 5 A DAY in your own kind of way.
Even eating one more portion of fruit and veg every day is beneficial to your health.
You'll also be able to find out more about things happening in your area, including growing your own fruit and veg, learning how to cook nutritious meals and healthy eating schemes available to you.
Plus there's the chance to have your photo taken to feature on Pendle Council's website.
Joanne Smith, from NHS East Lancashire, is Chair of Pendle Food Forum. She said:
"Pendle Food Forum is a group of local organisations who all have one aim - to encourage local people to improve their health through what they eat.
"It's all part of NHS East Lancashire's pledge to save a million years of life by 2011 and also ties in with the Government's Change4Life campaign.
"Most of us could make small changes to what we eat that will have major health benefits, but often we need a bit of encouragement.
"We'll help you come up with easy ways to make changes that will help you live a healthy life.
Sheila Bell, Pendle Council's Healthy Promotions Officer, said:
"This is the first event of its kind, but we're willing to run it every month if it's what people want.
"So please come along, show your support and give us your feedback."
Councillor Gary Bird, Pendle Council's Health Champion, said:
"We could all do something to improve our health, so I urge everyone to get involved.
"You could even make a pledge to make one small lifestyle change.
"My pledge is to get the smoothie maker out of the cupboard, dust it off and make one fruit or veg smoothie every day."
The event is being funded by Health Improvement money from Pendle Council and NHS East Lancs.
