Roll up! Roll up! A special circus themed event is taking place in Bradley, Nelson, this Saturday 6th March.
From face painting and circus skills, to information about health issues, crime prevention and local services, there will be plenty to interest everyone.
There'll also be an opportunity to learn more about the new Bradley Art Group.
Pendle Community Radio is attending, offering workshops for young people, as well as broadcasting its radio show from the event.
Local school children have entered a clown colouring competition and some of the entries will be displayed. The entries have been judged by local artist William Titley and the winner will be announced on the day.
One of the Fun Day organisers, Louise Hoole, from Pendle Council's Neighbourhood Management, said: "This is a fantastic opportunity for residents of all ages to find out information about health issues, community safety and future plans for Bradley and Nelson. It's really inspiring to find out about all the community groups that are active in Bradley.'
Pendle Council's Neighbourhood Management team and the Bradley and Nelson Schools' Parents' Association (SPA) have been working together to organise the event. Any proceeds made on the day will go to the SPA Group.
Councillor Sonia Robinson, Pendle Council's Executive member for Housing Regeneration, said: "I'd urge people to attend to find out what services are available locally. We're always keen to have input from local residents so that we can work with them to meet the community's needs."
