Open Day at Ballgrove Park
Published Tuesday 20th September 11
Saturday 24th September is the date for this year’s Ball Grove Open Day, with free entry from 12.00 noon to 4.00 pm.
This year's event is mostly aimed at parents with children, but everyone is invited to join in and make it a success!
The nature reserve will be the focus for old favourites like pond-dipping and there'll also be a nature and mini-beast hunt with the park-Keepers from Pendle Borough Council.
Our local Police Community Support Officer, , Trish Thompson, will be there
with the CCTV van (provided it isn't called into service) and local walk guide and historian John Belbin will be taking history walks around the park.
A photo display will show the history of Ballgrove and other recent events that have taken place there.
We will also have Stan the Van on site from 11.00am. Stan's staff are able to offer advice and guidance to residents on all kinds of subjects. Find out how to get more out of life, how to access local services and ask questions about more than 800 council services, campaigns and initiatives!
The Friends of Ball Grove look forward to welcoming you all to Ball Grove Park!
