Pendle Leisure Trust's Walk Co-ordinator Wayne Bowman is leading the way in promoting walking for health, after his DVD was featured on a national website.
The walk leader, along with walker Keith Widdup, of Brierfield, shot the film over the summer made a DVD to promote the Trust's Let's Walk project.
The DVD is now featured on the Natural England Walking for Health website and Youtube channel and is being used as an example for other walking groups across the UK who want to make their own promotional films.
Wayne said: "We are one of if not the only walking scheme in the country to have produced our own film, Walking for Health have commissioned short films in the past but no other walking scheme has done it themselves.
"We hope the film will encourage as many people to join the walks and cycle rides as possible"
Dave Perry, Walking for Health's regional advisor, said: "The DVD is absolutely brilliant! It features the walking programme run by the Trust, their cycling programme, their work with their Asian community and the natural progression work whereby fitter people go on longer walks around Pendle's countryside."
