Colne residents are invited to a street NAG, (Neighbourhood Action Group), meeting in Waterside on Tuesday 26th October.
The event, organised by Pendle Council's Neighbourhood Management team, will take place from 2-5pm on Thomas Street car park.
Children will be able to enjoy activities ranging from face painting to a bouncy castle.
Meanwhile adults can share any concerns about their area, as well as get help and advice on a range of topics.
The Street NAG will also see the arrival of the STAN the van, (Services To A Neighbourhood) vehicle.
STAN, which was unveiled last week, operates as a one-stop Council shop where residents can access information, check benefit claims and discuss confidential issues in private interview rooms.
George Brown, Assistant Community Development Officer with the Council's Neighbourhood Management Team, says:
"This is a great way of informing residents about the services available to them.
"Not everyone likes or is able to attend evening meetings, but that doesn't mean their views shouldn't be heard. We'll be here with many service providers and organisations to help residents in any way we can."Councillor Asjad Mahmood, who has responsibility for community involvement and cohesion on Pendle Council's Executive, said:
"We're taking Council services to the heart of the community. Please come along and have your say. We value your comments and opinions."
