Pendle Council's Neighbourhood Management Team is to hold the latest of a series of Street NAGS (Neighbourhood Action Group) meetings this week.

It's taking a special community bus out to Bradley Hall Road, Bradley, Nelson from 3 pm - 7pm on Tuesday August  3.

Lynne Mitchell, a Community Development Officer with Neighbourhood Management, said: "It's great to be able to come out into the community and meet people in their own street.

Nags and Residents' Association meetings provide an opportunity for local people to raise issues of concern affecting their neighbourhood. It's also a chance to share good ideas about improving an area.

But we know it's not always possible for people to attend  evening meetings - so here's a chance to step on board our bus, learn more about the services and help available locally and tell us about any concerns."

She added: "There will also be representatives from Pendle Council's Operational Services Department which deals with services including refuse collection and street cleaning and from Lancashire County Council's advice/information service Help Direct. There's also the chance to comment on Bradley's Area Action Plan."

Councillor Asjad Mahmood, who has responsibility for community involvement and cohesion on Pendle Council's Executive, said: "We're taking Council services to the heart of the community. Please come along and have your say. We value your comments and opinions."
