Warm Front Grant to improve your home

What happens once I have applied?

If you qualify for a grant, a Warm Front Team advisor will phone you  to welcome you as a Warm Front customer.

An assessment will be carried out on your home.  An assessor will

  • call you to arrange a convenient time to visit you
  • ask to see proof of your benefits
  • discuss with you the energy improvements that are available under Warm Front: and
  • recommend improvements based on what you already have in your home and the needs of your property.

The visit will take no longer than one hour but there may be a waiting period before this can take place once your application has been approved.

An approved installer working in your area will carry out the agreed work.  You may expect to wait between two and three months for insulation work, and between four and six months for heating work to start.
