Warm Front Grant to improve your home
What is the Warm Front Grant?
Warm Front is a national, Government-funded scheme to make homes warmer, healthier and more energy-efficient.
The Warm Front Grant provides a package of insulation and heating improvements for people on Benefits or Disability payments (DLA or Attendance Allowance) up to the value of £3,500 (or £6,000 if oil central heating is recommended).
The scheme is a Government-funded initiative and is managed by Eaga Partnership Plc.
If you own your own home or rent it from a private landlord, you may be eligible for a grant under the Warm Front Scheme.
The grant is for people claiming benefits who must also be EITHER over 60 OR disabled OR have children aged 16 or under to qualify.
Other grants for free insulation are also available; if you are claiming benefits or are over 70 years (irrespective of income or savings) please contact the Home Energy Team by emailing you details to energy@pendle.gov.uk or ring 01282 661026.
