Pendle Council has a range of policies and strategies to meet the housing needs of the community.
The housing priorities are included in Pendle's Sustainable Communities Plan.
Key Housing Objectives:-
- Prevent homelessness
- Reduce the number of empty properties in the Borough
- Reduce fuel poverty
- Tackle the issue of low demand neighbourhoods
- Provide high quality homes in mixed sustainable communities
- Increase the provision of supported and accessible housing
In order to deliver the above objectives a number of policies, strategies and action plans have been developed by individual sections within the Housing Regeneration Service Area.
