Personal Searches
- Appointments for Local Land Charges will be from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm inclusive.
- The appointments will be in half hour slots, especially when using the machine in Number One Market Street, Nelson.
- We will operate 5 days a week except bank holidays.
- Depending on the questions requested it should be possible to do 4 searches in the half hour.
The appointments should be booked 48 hours in advance by telephone, or email on land.charges@pendle.gov.uk using the form on the web, we will confirm any booking with a return email. This will allow the staff time to ensure the register is up to date with the departmental information. Also that all requested questions have been answered. The list of Personal Search Component Data costs shows prices for all questions on a printed format basis. Should you require the information from the public registers free of charge you should contact the service area numbers provided.
NOTE: Planning has searchable information on the web from 1990. Prior to 1990 the scanned plotting sheets have to be used.
Highway queries will in the main be answered by Lancashire County Council on contact number 0845 053 0011. We do however have a register at Number One Market Street which is free to look at.
In the instance of the Public Registers/Free data this can still be accessed in the same way by making appointments with the departments using the Access to Property Search request form. Download the form, complete it, and fax it to 01282 661630 - or alternatively complete the form and email it to land.charges@pendle.gov.uk.
