Objections to the First Stage Deposit
All objections received to the First Stage Deposit Local Plan were considered by Officers and were reported to the Special Executive meetings held on the 20th July and the 6th October 2004. Representations in support of, or making general comment to, a policy were also considered.

The Re-deposit Local Plan is comprised of 3 documents; the amended Written Statement, the Schedule of Proposed Changes (complete listing of amendments made to the Written Statement,) and the Proposed Map Changes (full listing of amendments made to the Proposals Maps). The Proposed Map Changes document shows amendments made to the First Stage Deposit maps and should therefore be viewed in conjunction with these. Links to each of the original maps are available below.
Proposal Maps from First Stage Deposit:
West Area MapThe Re-deposit Plan identifies amendments and new proposals to the Written Statement and Proposals Maps from the First Stage Deposit. The Pendle Local Plan is currently under review and the Plan was placed on First Stage Deposit for a period of 6 weeks, beginning on Monday 22nd September 2003. Following consideration of all representations received, the Council prepared this Re-deposit Local Plan. A further period of consultation on the Re-deposit Local Plan ended on Monday 16th May 2005.
Omission Sites
Omission sites are those sites with issues identified by Objectors during the consultation process for the replacement Pendle Local Plan, which the Council have not agreed with or acted upon. They relate to objections received at both the First Stage Deposit and Re-deposit stages of the Plan preparation. A 6 week period of consultation on the Omission Sites ended on Monday 11th July 2005. Omission Sites X82 & X86
Two sites where issues were raised by objectors at the First Stage Deposit and Re-deposit stages of the Plan preparation were excluded from the initial consultation on Omission Sites (see above). A 6 week period of consultation on these two Omission Sites ended on Monday 22nd August 2005. The omission site maps and their related issues are available to view here:
Omission Sites X11 & X81
Two further sites where issues were raised by objectors at the First Stage Deposit and Re-deposit stages of the Plan preparation, were incorrectly mapped in the initial consultation on Omission Sites (see above). A 6 week period of consultation on these two Omission Sites ended on Monday 26th August 2005. The omission site maps and their related issues are available to view here:
Public Inquiry into the Pendle Local Plan
A Public Inquiry was held to consider objections into the Re-deposit Pendle Local Plan. The Council have now received the binding Inspectors Report.
The Council released a series of 6 Topic Papers on the 5th July 2005 covering the key issues that were anticipated during the Inquiry. These were as follows:
