Commenting on a Planning Application
You can submit your comments on applications within 21 days from the date of the notification letters to neighbours, press notice and/or site notice whichever is the latest to be published.
Also, planning applications can be viewed at Nelson Town Hall or at the nearest Local Office/Council Shop to the proposed development where one exists e.g. Brierfield, Colne, Barnoldswick, and Earby for a period of 21 days commencing from the date of notification letters being posted.
Representations may be made in writing to the Planning Department, online via the Planning Application Archive or via email to planning@pendle.gov.uk

In the case of an appeal all comments received for an application will be forwarded to the Planning Inspectorate. Where an appeal is to be dealt with via the expedited Householder Appeals Service there will not be any further opportunity to make comments on the application.
