View and Comment on Planning Applications
Welcome to www.pendle.gov.uk/interactiveplanning
You can now search and view current and some historic planning applications online (1993 to current date).
Please read the following guidance notes before searching the archive.
Tips on using the Online Planning Application Archive:-
- You will need one of the following pieces of information planning application number, name of applicant, street name, postcode, date range (Click on the link to Tips below for guidance). If you complete too many data fields the search may fail. The Planning Application number generally follows the format 13/11/0286P.
- To view the Weekly Lists, enter the relevant dates into the "Date Registered/Validated" field
- To view the Decision List, enter the relevant dates into the Decision Date field
- To view Appeals Pending Decision, search on the Decision Type field using "Appeal Pending Planning" and/or "Appeal Against Enforcement" from the picklist
- You can download a document which gives advice on searching and viewing applications
Important Information:
- This search function should not be substituted for a formal Land Charges search.
- Although we make every effort to keep the archive up to date it does not constitute the Part 1 Planning Register.
You can also download the weekly lists as a pdf document.
Additionally, you can view historic maps showing application sites outlined in red with reference numbers.
Scaling of Plans: If printing plans from these pages please note that they will not necessarily be to the exact scale specified on the plans. However, we are encouraging our applicants and agents to supply plans in PDF format. Providing such plans have been created in a recent version of Acrobat with the measuring function enabled then anyone with Adobe Reader Version 9.4 onwards will be able to scale plans using the measuring tool.
Monitoring
The Council monitors the effectiveness of its development management service by sending out questionnaires to some of those that have made representations on planning applications. This is to help improve service delivery. The Council also holds a forum for planning agents on a twice yearly basis.
